Har Inderjeet Kaur
means: kind, loving and creative Princess/Lioness of God
who attains victory by dwelling in a state of divine consciousness.
"I will connect with my soul by overcoming all obstacles
on my path to merge with the divine."
My yogic path began in September 1999. My transformation continued to take shape when I began to teach in 2004, and then in October 2007 my entire life changed when I was involved in a motorcycle crash that killed my husband Jim, and left me disabled. My ongoing recovery from the extensive injuries includes 9 surgeries, years of physical therapy and yoga. It is only by the the Grace of God that I re-emerged into life to raise my children, honor my late husband, and continue my studies of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. In January 2009 I started to instruct again--one class per week, and have increased to teach several classes in both Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, as taught by Yogi Bhajan and and the 8 limbs of Yoga, inspried by B.K.S. Iyengar, for the YMCA, Bally's, and several Yoga Centers in Louisiana, and now at my home yoga studio of Eight Chakras Yoga.
Furthering the studies of yoga as therapy, I completed Level 1 as a Yoga Therapist for Chronic Pain, and offer classes and individual sessions to those who live with Chronic Pain Conditions.
It is an honour and privilege to open my own studio to continue the teachings for this Aquarian Age.
